Mission Statement
The Lutheran Towers’ Board of Directors and staff, believing in the mission and ministry of Lutheran Towers, offer this statement as its promise and commitment to the residents which it serves:
Lutheran Towers is a faith-based, wellness-oriented not for profit community for low to moderate income seniors promoting safe and secure housing in a caring and professional environment.
A Brief History
Since 1972, Lutheran Towers has fulfilled its critical mission of providing affordable housing for seniors in the Atlanta community. The Towers has been an attractive and comfortable home to over 3,000 residents throughout the years and is currently the home of approximately 200 residents of different backgrounds and cultures.
A vision of the late Reverend Doctor Robert E. Lee, the Towers is the only faith-based community of its kind in Midtown Atlanta.

Lutheran Towers is a diverse community and welcomes residents from all backgrounds and faiths. Lutheran Towers believes in serving our residents without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, creed, religion or disability.
"I moved to Lutheran Towers when I decided to retire. The services and activities here are so wonderful. I especially enjoy our monthly potluck dinners. It gives us a chance to fellowship with each other and taste such wonderful dishes. It means so much to me that I can talk to the staff whenever I have concerns or any difficulties. They always welcome me with open arms. I just love it here!"
