Isaac Ferguson, Director Physical Plant

As a young man in South Carolina, I always enjoyed playing sports, especially football.  I equally enjoyed fixing anything that I could get my hands on.  It’s no surprise, I chose Engineering as my profession.
I moved to Atlanta in the mid 80’s and furthered my education.  I earned a bachelor’s degree from Baker College and several certifications in Refrigeration, Building Automation, Project Management, and HVAC.
With over 20 years of experience in Facility Management and Building Construction and Operations, I have been a part of many cutting-edge advancements in my field while being dedicated to excellence and customer service.  As an active member of the International Facilities Management Association, (IFMA), I’ve been able to keep pace with a changing industry.  While gaining experience working in high rise Class A buildings and college campuses, I have the ability to think of my feet and clearly communicate the vision to various audiences.
From control checks and ensuring safety, to managing and motivating a team, I enjoy it all.  I like the motto, there is no “I” in team so I live by the scripture, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”  I Peter 4:10 (NIV)
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, boating, fishing, riding my motorcycle, and of course watching sports.
